We Buy Cars Across Colorado

From busy Front Range communities to quiet ranch roads and mountain towns, our vehicle buying service is available across the entire state of Colorado. We purchase used and junk cars in every region, including large cities, small towns, rural areas, and remote properties. Whether a seller is near the Rocky Mountains or closer to the Arkansas River, we can arrange pickup right where the vehicle is located. Distance within the state does not limit our coverage, and location does not narrow where we operate. Some vehicles are in neighborhoods, others sit on open land, at repair shops, along county roads, or outside town limits, and we handle pickup statewide. Across Colorado, we serve drivers, property owners, and families in places with easy highway access as well as areas reached by long local routes. Wherever the seller is located in the state, we can purchase the vehicle and coordinate removal from that location.

The Easiest Way to Sell Your Junk Car in Colorado

We keep the process straightforward:

  • Getting an instant offer: Call us to request an instant offer for your vehicle. We base the offer on the basic details you provide over the phone, such as the make, model, year, condition, and location. In most cases, we give the offer quickly, and there is no obligation to accept it.

  • Scheduling pickup and free towing: Once you accept the offer, we schedule pickup at a time that works for you anywhere in Colorado. Our towing service is free, and we can collect the vehicle from your home, workplace, a roadside location, or a repair facility. We arrange pickup across the state, including urban, rural, and remote areas.

  • Receiving payment at pickup: We complete payment when we pick up the vehicle. After the vehicle is collected, we finalize the transaction at that time.

We Buy Vehicles in Any Condition

Auto City Salvage buys vehicles from sellers across Colorado in all kinds of situations. Some people have a car they no longer drive after buying something newer. Others have an extra vehicle that has been sitting for months and taking up space. We also hear from families whose transportation needs have changed, from older drivers who are done keeping a car on the road, and from owners who are simply ready to let go of something they no longer use. In many cases, the vehicle still has value even if it is worn, damaged, or no longer running.

For some sellers, the car has become unreliable and they do not want to keep putting time into it. Others are dealing with a vehicle left behind after a move, a title transfer, or a change in the household. We buy cars, trucks, vans, and SUVs that have been parked for a long time, used less and less over the years, or kept around until the owner finally decides it is time to sell. That includes vehicles with visible wear, older cars that no longer fit daily life, and non running vehicles that are simply ready for their next step.

We Buy All Types of Vehicles Across Colorado

We buy many types of vehicles across Colorado for cash.

We purchase the kinds of vehicles people use every day, from personal transportation to larger family models. That includes small cars and standard passenger vehicles, along with sedans, compact cars, hatchbacks, and coupes. We also buy SUVs and crossovers that handle daily driving, school trips, and regular errands. Some owners contact us about convertibles or station wagons, while others want to sell a minivan that has been part of family use for years.

We also buy vehicles built for work, hauling, and practical use. In Colorado, that often means pickup trucks and vans used by contractors, service crews, and small business owners. We purchase utility vehicles used on properties, for equipment transport, or for routine job needs. Some sellers have a full size truck, while others have a cargo van, a work SUV, or another vehicle that serves a specific purpose.

After we make the offer, we schedule free towing and set up pickup at a time and location that fits the seller. Our process stays straightforward from start to finish, and we pay at the time of collection.

Understanding Junk Car Market Values in Colorado

In Colorado, the value of a junk car changes from one vehicle to the next. A newer car with less damage often brings more than an older one that has been sitting for years. The kind of vehicle also matters, since some cars, trucks, and SUVs hold more value in salvage than others.

Condition plays a big part in the offer. If the vehicle still has working parts, buyers often see more value in it than they do in a car with major damage throughout. Age also affects worth, because older vehicles usually have more wear, while certain models stay in demand when their parts are harder to find.

The market shapes the price as well. When scrap prices rise, the metal in a heavier vehicle tends to carry more value, while lighter cars often bring less for that reason alone. At the same time, strong demand for engines, transmissions, doors, or other usable parts can raise the offer beyond basic scrap value.

How to Apply for a Duplicate Colorado Title

In Colorado, a duplicate title is requested through your county motor vehicle office using the state title application. The registered owner or owners must complete the Application for Title and or Registration, provide acceptable identification, and pay the duplicate title fee. If there is a lien on the vehicle, the lien must be released before a duplicate title can be issued. If ownership has changed, the duplicate title should be obtained before the vehicle is sold.

  1. Complete the Colorado Application for Title and or Registration, Form DR 2395. Mark the request for a duplicate title. Enter the vehicle information, owner information, and current mailing address exactly as required.
  2. Take the completed form to your county motor vehicle office. Bring a valid photo ID and any lien release documents if a lien is shown on the record. Pay the duplicate title fee required by the county and state.
  3. Receive the duplicate title by mail after the county processes the request. Review the title when it arrives, then sign it over to the buyer when you are ready to sell the vehicle.

Colorado Title Transfer & Signing Requirements

Signing over a Colorado vehicle title means the seller fills out the title correctly, gives the buyer the signed title, and both sides complete the basic information needed for ownership transfer. The goal is to make sure the title is clear, accurate, and signed in the right places before the buyer takes it to complete registration.

  • Review the title before writing anything. Confirm that the names on the front match the current owner or owners exactly. If more than one owner is listed, check how the names appear and have each required owner sign. Make sure the title is the correct original document and that there are no major errors or missing sections.
  • Complete the seller section on the title. Enter the buyer’s full legal name, the sale date, and the vehicle odometer reading if the title includes that space. Print clearly and use the exact vehicle information shown on the title. The seller then signs in the seller signature area and prints their name if the title asks for it. Do not cross out information or leave required blanks unfinished.
  • Give the buyer the signed title and any standard transfer documents that apply, such as a bill of sale if one is being used. Remove your license plates unless local instructions say otherwise. The buyer then takes the signed title to the appropriate office to transfer the title and register the vehicle in their name.
